How to Reach the Chiklihole Dam Coorg?

Coorg is easily accessible from various cities and towns in Karnataka. The closest airports to the Chiklihole reservoir are Mangalore Airport, 166 km away, and Mysore Airport, 116 km away. You can take a bus or book a private cab to the pond.

The closest train stop is in Mysore. Tourists can use state buses or rent a car from Mysore to Coorg for an easy trip.

Suppose you're coming from Kushalnagar, Siddapur, or Suntikoppa. In that case, you can hire a private cab from Coorg's best car rental companies to get to Chiklihole Dam, as public transport is unavailable.

Dubare Elephant Camp (about 15 km away): Wildlife fans should go to this camp because they can get close to elephants, watch them bathe, and even ride an elephant. Another common thing to do here is river rafting on the Kaveri River.

Nisargadhama (about 18 km): The Kaveri River made the beautiful island of Nisargadhama. The bamboo gardens, deer parks, hanging bridges, and treehouses at this ecotourism spot make it a very family-friendly place.

Harangi Dam: It is 8 miles away. Harangi Dam is a peaceful day trip destination. Its vast perspective of the hills is best in summer when the water flow is maximum.

Madikeri Fort (about 25 km away): Madikeri Fort is an important historical site in Coorg. Its design is a mix of Indo-European styles, and it has beautiful views of the area. There is a museum, a church, and a clock tower inside the fort.

Raja's Seat (about 25 km): Raja's Seat is a popular lookout point in Madikeri that is known for having amazing views of the sunrise and sunset. The well-kept yard and musical waterfall make it even more charming.

Abbey Falls (about 30 km away): Abbey Falls is one of the most well-known waterfalls in Coorg. It is surrounded by coffee farms and lots of greenery. It's fun to visit the roaring waterfall, especially when it rains a lot.

Viewpoint at Mandalpatti (about 35 km): Mandalpatti has off-road hiking and a stunning view of the Western Ghats for people who like to try new things. The trip to the lookout point is exciting and beautiful.

•    Go to the “Tours” section on the website and click on it. You can see a drop-down menu where different tour packages will show. Click any one of them according to your wish and then a webpage will be redirected. You can select the “Starting City” and the “Trip Duration” in order to know the price for your trip. You will get a lot of options of tour packages which you may select according to your will. 
•    There will be some more options which you need to answer correctly in order to get the final price of your tour.

No. Someone trying to book a tour package does not need to make full payment. There are three options to make the payment - 30%, 50% or 100%. One can choose any of the above-stated options to book the package.

30% option - Initially customer has to pay 30% for the booking confirmation. Within 24 hours hotel vouchers will be shared. Upon the hotel vouchers receipt, the customer has to release another 20% of the payment. The remaining 50% amount should be released one day prior to your travel date.

50% option - Customer has to pay 50% for the booking confirmation. Within 24 hours hotel vouchers will be shared. The remaining 50% amount should be released one day prior to your travel date.

100% option - Upon 100% of the payment, there is no due from the customer. We will be happy to provide service.  

•    After the payment is successful the customer/client will find an auto-generated invoice. Apart from that,  a confirmation mail and message will be sent to the client’s mail id and number respectively from the assigned tour manager.

•    If a client is booking on behalf of a family member or a friend, then he/she will have to have the basic details about the traveler. Like the starting city of the journey, desired length of the trip, contact details, and some more. It is very easy and convenient to book on behalf of someone.
