Cauvery Nisargadhama Forest Park is located on an island and is cared for by the forest department of Karnataka.

The largest river in the area creates it, the Kaveri River, bordered by thick forest. It's a famous weekend spot and is only 3 km away from Kushalnagar.

Cauvery Nisargadhama, one of the popular places to visit in Coorg, is a beautiful island near the Cauvery River in Karnataka, India. The island is expansive, covering an area of 64 acres completely enclosed in green, and is thus a favoured destination amongst nature lovers; adventure seekers also feel at home here. It is a lovely place that attracts tourists with some breathtaking landscapes, a calm, soothing ambiance, and tons of adventure activities.

The beautiful camping area is surrounded by thick bamboo, teak trees, sandalwood, and charming houses by the river. Elephant rides and boats are some of the other famous sights here. Cauvery Nisargadhama has a guest house run by the forest department and bamboo cabins built in the trees.

You can get to the island using a hanging rope bridge. Reaching the island is possible via a hanging rope bridge. There is a playroom and flower garden in Nisargadhama. It is a natural park where everyone, regardless of age, can have fun. There is also a small snack shop and a deer park. Tourists can enter the water at weak and safe river spots.

Best time to visit Cauvery Nisargadhama Coorg

The best time to visit Cauvery Nisargadhama Forest is from October to May. Summer is from March to May, but the green forests and cool climate make it a great time to come. It is one of the most beautiful and fun places to visit in any Coorg tour package.

In winter, the temperature decreases significantly, making the forest very cold. Not many people go to the jungle during the monsoon season because of the rain, which can be light or heavy. The forest looks best in the wet season when the trees and plants are fresher and healthier.

Cauvery Nisargadhama Forest Park is about 30 km from Coorg. Coorg is easily reachable from cities and places like Mangalore, Bangalore, Mysore, and Coimbatore.

Cauvery Nisargadhama Forest Park is approximately 70 km away from Mysore. Mysore railway station is the closest train station to Cauvery Nisargadhama. Cauvery Nisargadhama Forest Park is close to Kushalnagar, just 3 km away. Most buses from Kushalnagar to Madikeri stop at the highway by the forest.

It takes about 15 minutes for people to get to the forest park from the bus stand. It is on the Mysore-Madikeri Highway. Tourists can hire a cab to take them directly to Cauvery Nisargadhama Forest Park.

•    Go to the “Tours” section on the website and click on it. You can see a drop-down menu where different tour packages will show. Click any one of them according to your wish and then a webpage will be redirected. You can select the “Starting City” and the “Trip Duration” in order to know the price for your trip. You will get a lot of options of tour packages which you may select according to your will. 
•    There will be some more options which you need to answer correctly in order to get the final price of your tour.

No. Someone trying to book a tour package does not need to make full payment. There are three options to make the payment - 30%, 50% or 100%. One can choose any of the above-stated options to book the package.

30% option - Initially customer has to pay 30% for the booking confirmation. Within 24 hours hotel vouchers will be shared. Upon the hotel vouchers receipt, the customer has to release another 20% of the payment. The remaining 50% amount should be released one day prior to your travel date.

50% option - Customer has to pay 50% for the booking confirmation. Within 24 hours hotel vouchers will be shared. The remaining 50% amount should be released one day prior to your travel date.

100% option - Upon 100% of the payment, there is no due from the customer. We will be happy to provide service.  

•    After the payment is successful the customer/client will find an auto-generated invoice. Apart from that,  a confirmation mail and message will be sent to the client’s mail id and number respectively from the assigned tour manager.

•    If a client is booking on behalf of a family member or a friend, then he/she will have to have the basic details about the traveler. Like the starting city of the journey, desired length of the trip, contact details, and some more. It is very easy and convenient to book on behalf of someone.
